Stop by our table to sign up and learn more about the Fencing Club at the 2025 LTHS Club Fair in the main cafeteria from 8-8:45 am on Friday September 12th. Our first official club meeting will be on Monday September 15th after school in Room K109. No fencing experience necessary!

Held annually on the second Saturday of September, World Fencing Day is a chance for fencers, coaches, and fans around the world to share their passion for the sport. It's a day to recognize the rich history of fencing, from its ancient origins in combat and self-defense to the modern, strategic sport we know today. The International Fencing Federation (FIE) created this day to promote the values of fencing: discipline, respect, sportsmanship, and the idea that "Fencing is for Life." Whether you're a seasoned competitor or just starting your journey, fencing offers a unique blend of physical and mental challenges that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. So how can we celebrate? Practice! The best way to celebrate is to get on the strip and fence. Share your passion: Tell your friends and family about why you love fencing. Watch a bout: Look up some of the world's best fencers and watch them in action.
